The Football Index has turned 4 years old and to celebrate that milestone, they are looking to share the love by offering a promotional bonus to traders. There has been a lot of chatter on social media lately with traders hoping that the birthday of Football Index will bring along a bonus offer like last year. Football Index agrees and has decided to celebrate their birthday in style by officially launching the bonus offer to traders.

The reaction was instantaneous. The index has seen movement in players’ share prices as since the announcement as traders attempt to beat the rush. For any trader, there is no more glorious than the sight of green flashes on the marketplace, especially for traders who have not had a great start to the season.

So, what is the Football Index 4th Birthday Bonus?

The bonus is split into two parts with a similar structure to the Football Index bonuses we experienced earlier in 2019. To receive any of these bonuses traders will have to opt-in at https://trade.footballindex.co.uk/4thbdaybonus/. Traders only need to opt-in once to be eligible for both deposit bonuses as long as they ensure they’re opted in before the end of the first bonus period (23:59 on 30/09/2019).

Part 1

The first part of the bonus is available from Tuesday 24th September to midnight on Monday 30th September and includes a 10% bonus on the net buys of traders.

There is a maximum bonus amount of £1,000. This means that if your net buys amount to over £10,000 you would still only receive a maximum of £1,000 bonus.

Part 2

The second part of the deposit bonus is available from Tuesday 1st October to midnight on Friday 18th October and includes a 5% bonus on the net buys of traders. Again, there is a limitation on the bonus amount per account traders and this is at £500. This means that if your net buys amount to over £10,000 you would only receive the maximum bonus amount of £500.

This two-part promotion can see traders walk away with up to £1,500 in bonuses if they reach the maximum net buys for both parts.

Although this sounds great (and it really is) it is also vitally important that traders remember that Football Index is a gambling platform and you should only play with what you can afford to lose.

How do you opt-in for the Football Index 4th Birthday Promotion?

As with most Football Index bonus promotions you have to opt-in via their website.

Each promotion typically has its own webpage which includes a contact form which you use to opt-in. The opt-in web page for this promotion is https://trade.footballindex.co.uk/4thbdaybonus/.

To be eligible for both Football Index Part 1 & 2 you must opt-in just once on the Football Index website. It is important to note that traders MUST opt-in before the deadline of Part 1 (23:59 on 30/09/2019) to be eligible for both parts.

Can you withdraw funds from your Football Index account and still be eligible for the Football Index 4th Birthday Bonus?

The simple answer is yes. The promotional bonus is based on the net buys of traders. This means that traders don’t necessarily need to even deposit funds into their Football Index account to earn themselves a bonus as money held in your Football Index wallet would become eligible once you have purchased shares.

The way net buys are worked out is ‘Shares Bought’ – ‘Shares Sold’. As long you have opted-in and the monetary value of the shares you have bought is larger than the shares you have sold you will receive a bonus. This bonus will be 10% of your net buys (Shares Bought – Shares Sold) up to £10,000 (maximum bonus of £1,000).

Do you need to buy and sell shares to be eligible for the Football Index bonus?

No. The Football Index birthday promotion is based on the net buys of traders. This is worked out by ‘Shares Bought – Shares Sold’. To be eligible you need to buy shares, but you do not have to sell shares.

Does Net Buys refer to Net quantity of Shares Bought or Net value of Shares Bought?

Net buys refer to the monetary value of shares as opposed to the number of shares bought. For example, if you buy 1 share in a player at £2.00 and sell 10 shares in a player at £0.20 your net buys will be £0.00.

How do you work out your net buys?

Net buys = Shares Bought – Shares Sold
